Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Hang Kia Village
08.00AM, our Vietnam adventure tour guide picks you up at your hotel at 8 am and leave Hanoi for Mai Chau, the beautiful gate way to the mountainous area of northern Vietnam. We may have stop en route for some refreshment.
Upon arrival in Mai Chau, we will meet up with our local pilot/porter. The pilot leads us to the less touristy path to get to Xa Linh village. Enjoy lunch at local H’mong house before setting off on a beautiful trekking in the afternoon.
From here, we start hiking on dirt, small paths using by locals only. After about 40 minutes walking, we reach to first stop - Tra Day Village, home to a small community of Black H’mong people. Depending on your physical level, we offer you two trekking trails: the first one which is easier with rocky trails running through an H’mong village and the second, the harder one, is longer, tougher with uphill hiking through jungle and terraces.
We will reach Hang Kia around 5 pm, the home of Flower H’mong minority people. Tonight we will stay overnight with an H’mong family. While our pilot/porter cooks dinner we can take shower or stroll around the village. Dinner around 7.30 pm. Before going to bed we will treat our feet with an herbal foot massage for total relaxation.
The transfer: 4.5 hrs
The trekking: 2.5 – 3 hrs trekking on dirt & rocky path (or jungle trail-second option), slightly uphill and downhill.

Home stay: Hang Kia Village
Day 2: Trekking from Hang Kia to Van Village
Having breakfast with the local host and getting ready for another amazing trekking today. Leaving the village, we will walk on jungle trail for one hour. The trail could be a bit wet due to the dense trees that keep sunlight away. After that, we descend the hill passing farm and terraces. The scenery is stunning with mountains, terraces, and expansive valley. During the trek, we will some breaks for snack, rest, and photographing. After crossing a small river we reach a village of White Thai minority group, where we have lunch in a local house.
You may wish to have a short nap after enjoying your lunch. In the remainder of the day we will walk on village road to reach Van Village, a beautiful village of White Thai minority people. The road runs zigzag along the valley and through lots of scenic village. Tonight have dinner and stay overnight in a Thai family. We will eat and sleep on the bamboo floor as it is the traditional way. Again, our porter will cook dinner for us while we are taking shower or having a pre-dinner drink. At the meal time the host will welcome us with homemade whisky. Before going to bed we look after our feet with herbal foot massage.
The trekking: 5 – 5.30 hrs trekking on downhill jungle trail and flat dirt road

Home stay: Van Village
Day 3: Trekking from Van Village to Buoc Village
Today begins with homemade breakfast following with 3-hr trekking to reach Buoc Village. The path will run up and downhill through bamboo forest, terraces and farms. On hiking trails, we may see farmers working on their farms. Around 12 pm we reach Buoc Village, another scenic village of White Thai minority people where you will have lunch or even a short snap. This afternoon is another 2-hr leisure trek around the village. Weather permitting, we could enjoy a swim into the cool water of the stream nearby at the end of the day.
Closing this trekking day with a dinner cooked by the pilot and foot bath in herbal water.

Homestay: Buoc Village
Day 4: Trekking to Van Mai – Transfer to Hanoi
Spend your last morning for delicious breakfast and pure morning of mountain. We say goodbye to the family and enjoy the last trekking along mountain foot to reach Van Mai. Meet our car and driver again then take a short transfer to Pom Coong Village for lunch in a local house.
Drive back to Hanoi. Get into downtown around 5 pm. Tour ends.
The trekking: 3-hrs trekking on flat dirt road along mountain foot
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
