Night 1:  Night train to Lao Cai

Transfer from your hotel to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin.

Day 1: Transfer to Sapa - Trek Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai Village

Arrive in Station early morning. We drive up hill to the famed town – Sapa under the mist. The stunning vistas of mountains, valleys and unique ethnic costumes will fully awake you up. Arrive Sapa town and enjoy hot, delicious breakfast. Get ready for our trekking from here.
Commence your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong village. Keep your feet walking from Lao Chai to Tavan village where the Giay hill tribe lives. Hiking right through a bamboo forest, after your picnic lunch, to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village where we will have authentic homestay experience among hill tribe people. Dinner and overnight in the local house. 
Transfer Lao Cai – Sapa:    45 mins 
Trekking:        5-hr trek/dirt paths/downhill

Day 2: Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Thanh Kim - Thanh Phu Village

Enjoy breakfast with your warm host before start our trekking day. Hiking through the rice terraces to the village of Su Pan people. We may stop for a hiking rest while ActiveTravel Asia 's guide is briefing unique feature of this ethnic people. Moving to Thanh Kim for a picnic lunch. After lunch time, taking another 2 hours walking downhill along a narrow valley to the Ngoi Bo River, then uphill for one more hour to Muong Bo Village. We already arrive at the center of Thanh Phu – a commune of Tay minority. Having dinner and stay overnight in a wooden Tay stilt house.

Day 3: Thanh Phu Village - Topas Eco Lodge

Today we are going to hike to reach to the most highlighted part of this tour – Topas Ecolodge. Leaving Thanh Phu village, we will walk on a good condition trails for about 3 km to meet the transfer vehicle.
Short transfer to Topas Eco Lodge. Upon arrival, check in your bungalow. Immediately getting overwhelmed by breathtaking views of mountain peaks, picturesque cloud and pure air while sitting at private balcony. Nothing can be more relax and hideaway. Overnight in Topas Eco lodge. 
Trek:   40 mins – Moderate grade
Meals:   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Topas Eco Lodge

Day 4: Topas Eco lodge - Sapa - Night train back to Hanoi

Enjoy breakfast and services at Topas. If weather clear, you even can see the Fan Si Pan peak emerging from an ocean of cloud.
Check out and leaving Topas by shuttle bus transfer at 09.30 am to Sapa Town. Leave luggage at Topas office in town then free to explore the town relax in local cafes or shops around market. In the late afternoon we take a bus ride to Lao Cai for night train back to Hanoi
Transfer eco lodge – Sapa:  30 mins
Transfer Sapa – railway station:  1-hr by AC vehicle
Meal:     Breakfast
Accommodation:   Overnight train with AC, soft sleeper cabin

Day 5: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip completes

Arrive in Hanoi around 5 am. Trip completes at the train station.
